The Board of Trustees requires that all campus based students be covered by health insurance, either through a program provided by the University or one determined to be equivalent. Therefore, the University provides a plan for which the fee is automatically assessed along with other tuition and fees.
Request for waiver from the University health insurance, extension of coverage, purchase of dependent coverage, and so on are limited to specific time periods at the beginning of each semester. See the Student Insurance Office website for more information.
