Cancellation of Registration
A student who enrolls in a Winter session course and later decides not to attend the class may cancel registration before the first day of instruction for the session. A 100% refund of tuition will be generated if cancellation is requested by the deadline. The easiest way to cancel registration is via Student Self-Service using Class Registration to web drop that single Winter class.

Thursday, December 18, 2025 11:59 pm CST
Dropping your only Winter Class
For the Winter session only, you can drop your last class via Student Self-Service through January 3, 2025 11:59 CST. A pro-rata refund of the tuition will be applied to your account based on the schedule below. Beginning January 4, 2026, you will need to contact your undergraduate college office to request their assistance to drop a winter class.
- December 18, 2025, 100% and no ‘W’ grade
- December 19-23, 2025, 80% and no ‘W’ grade
- December 24-29, 2025, 60% and no ‘W’ grade
- December 30, 2025-January 3, 2026, 40% and no ‘W’ grade
- January 4, 2026, 40% refund, ‘W’ grade recorded and requires college office assistance
- No refund is available after January 4, 2026
If you make no payment, and drop your Winter class on or after the first day of instruction for the session, you are liable for the full amount of tuition originally assessed less applicable refunds.
You can drop your only winter class through the Student Self-Service application. Select Student Services and under the Registration section, select Class Registration then Register for Classes.
