Cancellation of Registration
A student who enrolls in a Winter session course and later decides not to attend the class may cancel registration before the first day of instruction for the session. A 100% refund of tuition will be generated if cancellation is requested by the deadline. The easiest way to cancel registration is via Student Self-Service using Enhanced Registration to web drop that single Winter class.
Deadline to cancel for Winter 2021-2022: Sunday, December 19, 2021 11:59 PM CST
Dropping your only Winter class
For the Winter session only, you can drop your last class yourself via Student Self-Service through January 3, 2022 11:59 CST. A pro-rata refund of the tuition will be applied to your account based on the schedule below. Beginning January 4, 2022 campus college offices will be open again after the holidays, so you will need to contact your undergraduate college office to request their assistance to drop a winter class.
- December 19, 2021, 100% and no ‘W’ grade
- December 20-24, 2021, 80% and no ‘W’ grade
- December 25-30, 2021, 60% and no ‘W’ grade
- December 31-January 4, 2022, 40% and no ‘W’ grade
- January 5, 2022, 40% refund, ‘W’ grade recorded and requires college office assistance
- No refund is available after January 5, 2022
If you make no payment, and drop your Winter class on or after the first day of instruction for the session, you are liable for the full amount of tuition originally assessed less applicable refunds.
You can drop your only winter class through the Enhanced Registration application. Select Registration Menu in Student Self-Service and you will be directed to the new class registration system. Choose Register for Classes. The screens will look and act differently than Classic Registration, but you might prefer this enhanced version.
